This demo walks you through how to assign the Administrator role to a user in a Jira space using Space Settings. In just a few clicks, you can manage user roles directly from the People section without needing external tools.
Steps
- In your Jira space, head to the top navigation bar and click the More Actions button.
- Choose Space Settings from the list of options.
- In the left-hand panel, click People.
- Find the user whose role you want to edit, then click its corresponding Role menu.
- Tick the checkbox beside Administrators and uncheck the checkbox beside the user's current role.
- The selected user will now be a Jira administrator in your space.
