Steps

  1. Click the App Launcher in the top-left corner of your Salesforce dashboard.
  2. Search for and select Email Templates in the App Launcher search bar.
  3. Select an existing template from the list to edit it.
  4. Alternatively, click New Email Template to create a brand-new template.
  5. Scroll to the Message Content section of the template and click the media icon.
  6. Select Browse or Upload from the media options.
  7. Choose an image file from your computer and click Open to begin uploading.
  8. Once the image is uploaded, click Save to apply and preserve the changes to the template.

📌 Why this matters

Knowing how to add an image to a Salesforce email template helps sales and marketing teams create visually engaging, branded communications directly within their CRM. Salesforce email templates with images improve open and click-through rates by making outreach more professional and compelling. This feature eliminates the need for third-party design tools, keeping your email workflow entirely inside Salesforce. Mastering this step is essential for any team looking to scale personalized, on-brand email campaigns efficiently.
