Connect once, then paste a prompt. Build, personalize, share and measure demos without opening Storylane.
On Starter plans and above — find it under Settings → Integrations → MCP. Access mirrors your own permissions.
Pick one to see what it does and copy the prompt. Swap anything in [brackets].
Storylane works alongside your other connectors in the same conversation. Run these when you need them — or paste a routine and it keeps going on its own.
Set up a routine that runs every hour between 9am and 9pm on weekdays. Each run: check my call recorder for external sales calls that ended in the last two hours. Skip internal meetings, interviews, and anything under 5 minutes. Before building anything, check Storylane for an existing link named "<Company> - post-call <today's date>". If one is already there, skip that call. That check is what stops the same call being rebuilt on the next run, so never skip it. For each remaining call, pull the meeting summary. Then use Storylane to make a personalised copy of [YOUR DEMO], rewriting the step titles and tooltips around that prospect's company, the pain points they raised, and what they said they'd do next. Publish the copy, then create a tracked link named "<Company> - post-call <today's date>". Post the link to [#YOUR-CHANNEL] in Slack, tagging the rep from our side who was on the call, with one line on what the demo was personalised around.
Set up a routine that runs every weekday at 7am. Each run: look at today's calendar and find the meetings with at least one guest from outside our company. Skip internal meetings, meetings with no guests, and any where the only outside guest is a shared address like sales@, info@, support@, hello@ or no-reply@ - those aren't a person. For each one, create a tracked Storylane link to [YOUR DEMO] named "<Company> - pre-call", personalised with token variables for the prospect's first name and company name. Only set the first-name token when you are confident of a real first name: use the guest's calendar name if there is one, and don't guess from an email that doesn't clearly look like a person. If you can't tell, set the company token and leave the name out. Post a single digest to [#YOUR-CHANNEL] in Slack listing each meeting - the time, who it's with, and the ready-to-send link - tagging the person from our side who is attending. If there are no external meetings today, post nothing.
Check our analytics for the best-performing demo this month, then use Storylane to personalize three variations of it for our top three target accounts and give me a tracked link for each.
Pull the objections from my last call with [COMPANY], then use Storylane to build a leave-behind demo that addresses them and send me the link.
For every open opportunity in our CRM, use Storylane to generate a personalized demo link and log it back to the deal record.
